A POWERFUL PLATFORM TO REMOTELY MANAGE + MAINTAIN IoT ENVIRONMENTS
Reduce the risk of your next project by using a ready-made,
proven platform which is feature-rich and secure.
INTELLIGENT.
POWERUL.
SECURE.
At Water Source Australia, we use an Internet of Things (IoT) network of distributed and interconnected sensors to collect and exchange data from our small-scale (and often remote) water treatment units. To make all the data generated by the units actionable, we needed it collated and presented in an easy-to-use IoT Platform.
We created ELEIoT, our multi-layered enterprise-grade IoT Platform which provides data, analytics, the ability to make informed decisions and allocate actions. ELEIoT is a re-usable technology stack. ELEIoT is now available for licence by companies wanting to leapfrog the technical development required for IoT project deployment, achieve results faster and/or prove the initial business case.
VIRTUAL TECHNOLOGY IN A FEATURE-PACKED IOT SYSTEM
Where most IoT Platforms provide a way to securely view and analyse the data, we were determined to provide additional functionality. For us, it was important the platform offered an ability to remotely control equipment and enable automated actions
Remotely manage and support complex IoT devices with a delegated management model
Real time data visualisation – from a single device through to an aggregate group of devices.
Understand the exact state of every device and every component in each device.
Receive alarm or warning notifications when control points are exceeded
Assign work items to onsite or remote engineers via a built-in work management system
Supports an infinite number of hardware models, future proofing the platform
Roll out software or configuration changes remotely to a single or a group of devices
Track the exact usage of any component within a full bill of materials
Feed operational data into learning algorithms for predictive maintenance
CASE STUDY
Two Water Source treatment units were deployed to a remote testing facility in Gorthleck, Scotland. The location was selected due to the local water quality being impacted by dissolved organics. The units in Scotland were connected to ELEIoT to allow the Water Source team (located in Melbourne) to observe real time performance.
Using ELEIoT, the Water Source engineers were able to read data from the IoT sensors located half way around the world. They were able to see which valves were open or closed and if pumps were operating or not. Any single or combination of components were reviewed, charted and reported to determine any issues over any period of time.
The results? The data in ELEIoT helped the engineers to identify software bugs and improve valve performance. The team in Melbourne were able to remotely back flush the membrane and pre-filters to remove built up dissolved organics. This remote connectivity between the treatment units and ELEIoT is how the Water Source trial lasted a full 16 weeks (attempts by others lasted only 4 days). Lastly, ELEIoT gave the team confidence the treatment units were working as required.

Our IoT Platform is pre-configured for Water Source treatment units. ELEIoT can be easily configured for other applications in the water industry. Our in-house engineering and software development team (which built the platform) is available to make ELEIoT fit your purpose and to guide your team through set up and testing. Australian made and owned.
